1.1 Creation. In the beginning, Elohim created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1).  The Spirit of Elohim was moving over the face of the waters (Genesis 1:1-2).

1.2 Zechariah. The Spirit of Elohim came upon Zechariah, the son of Jehoida the priest and proclaimed that the people had transgressed the commandments of Yahweh. They do not prosper because they have forsaken Yahweh and He has forsaken them. [1]The Hebrews term here “you have forsaken” (“עֲזַבְתֶּ֥ם”) and He has forsaken (“יַּֽעֲזֹ֥ב”) describe a spiritual separation. Notice that the Spirit of Elohim announces this separation of Yahweh from His people (2 Chronicles 24:20).

Spirit of Yahweh

2.1 Strive. Yahweh said that His spirit would not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh. His days shall be one hundred and twenty years (Genesis 6:3). Notice the Spirit of Yahweh strives with man, but God has grown tired of such striving.
